“The greatest glory in living lies not in never falling, but in rising every time we fall.”
— Nelson Mandela
Perseverance, resilience, strength, overcoming challenges
Overview
Surviving to fight another day
Persevere through this moment, if you have it in you to stand you have it in you to fight. There’s challenges seem endless; but so are you. Find the strength to pull yourself up once more, and keep fighting the good fight. The divine have you in their line of sight, keep your faith alive.

Symbolism
The man who once had a circlet around his brow is now adorned with a bandage. Surrounded by 8 wands, he uses the ninth to hold himself up on his two feet. Adorned in red and white this symbolic as the sign for medical attention or mercy. Behind the wands are mountains, and the ground he stands on is stable.
Meaning
Overcoming obstacles
Throughout this endeavor you have made dramatic leaps and bounds. Through overcoming adversity, you claimed your territory and status. All that you have obtained is on the line, and so is your name. There will never be a lack of envious people who want all that you have and will try to take it from you either by deception or replication.
Survival
Everything you need to win this war is inside of you, just like every other war you’ve won before. This could be the last one, but remember conflict only comes when you don’t prepare for it. How long will you be on guard, and at what cost are your defenses up? While this could be the last stand you take, and it seems to indicate that it the case, do you have the perseverance to survive another?
Yield all the courage you have and look in the face of the demons coming out of the wood work. You have this, everyone’s counting on you.
Survival mode
This is a state of mind you are familiar with. It’s nothing new to be faced with opposition, controversy. If you didn’t have to fight at every turn you might feel like things were out of place, maybe a little paranoid.
This is survival mode. Wave after wave of opposition have challenged you to rise to this new height. Tired, war torn, and a little shell-shocked, it amazes you can focus on your objective. You know that you’ve come too far to give up. There have been far bigger trials you have faced in this life, than this one.
Strength in Question
This card comes up when you’re not sure that you have it in you to keep going. There is something you’re not sure you can handle. Let this be your sign that you can; and will. There is so much more you have survived, and the battle will allow you to survive so much more.
Nine of Wands Reversed
“He who fears he will suffer, already suffers because he fears.”
— Michel de Montaigne
Burn out, exhaustion, overwhelm, vulnerability.

Meaning
Extraordinary Perseverance
Your level of perseverance is borderline sickening. Everyone around you is begging you to stay down, slow down. What ever train you’re on, you’re completely derailing.
Not knowing when to quit
There is overcoming obstacles, and there is refusing to give up a gun. This has proven to be a fruitless battle. It seems like you’ve been spinning your wheels for a long time now, barely scraping by but somehow always pulling it off.
Burn out
This one is not looking too good for you. No one is asking you to yield because they want to watch you fail, they are asking you to surrender so that the entire Kingdom isn’t leveled.
First battle of many
You may not have won the battle, but with tact and strength– there is still a war to win. Take stock and look for your Trojan Horse.
Overwhelm
It seems that the adversary comes in at all sides and you’re trapped. There’s a sense of unease and overwhelm bubbling over within you. Though things are not what they seem, their shadows are taller than they are.
