Alone we can do so little; together we can do so much.”
— Helen Keller
Collaboration, Skill building, Teamwork, Contribution recognition
Overview
Forces uniting against a shared goal.
The people who you’ve found to aide you in a business endeavor are rare and should be cherished. They have a unique trait, that may only apply to you— they share your artistic vision. Whether intuitively or logically, they can comprehend what you’re creating and are enthralled to help you bring it to light.
This is the card of hard work and the craftsman. Your life’s work is being admired, and there are people who are more experienced than you standing in the wings willing to teach you the required skills needed to complete this task.

Symbolism
Inside a stone cathedral or workshop, three figures collaborate: a craftsman (stonemason or architect) in a brown apron stands on a bench carving a pentacle into an archway; below him, a monk in robes and a hooded figure (possibly a client or financier) consult three golden pentacles already embedded in the structure. The scene emphasizes skilled workmanship, teamwork, apprenticeship, and recognition for quality effort.
Meaning
Contribution recognition
The object of your craft is a joint effort between multiple forces, and your contribution will be seen in the end result. There will be a time to celebrate in the near future. Look at it like the rebuilding of Norte dame: There were thousands of craftsmen all involved, all doing their own shared trade from carving marble to staining glass. Once the end result is reached. Your work will be part of a larger picture of greatness and you’ll be recognized for it.
Using every tool in your arsenal
Internal or external, these forces could be within yourself or within multiple other people. The plan in place requires each of these parts, and all that force needs to be focused a singular point. Like burning an ant with a magnifying glass on a sunny day.
Skill building
This card can also represent research or higher education to obtain your goal. There also maybe multiple moving parts that need consolidating. Skills are being learned that are needed in order to achieve your goals or move forwards.
Teamwork
This card is all about going back to school; learning your craft, competition and allies. Like going to school, this is the period of time when you figure out who your friends are, who’s an enemy, and the validity of your mentor. This is a card of growth, learning and dedication to your cause.
Collaboration
This card can be symbolized by “teamwork’ as well, as it suggest the gathering of people whose strengths can compliment your weakness’s. Learning how to delegate, work with others, and take constructive criticism.
How much do you love your trade?
This is the point where you need to figure out how dedicated you are to what you are doing. Be inspired by the curiosity that brought you here; accept collaboration from others and sharing the glory.
This card can speak for hard work, and trade-work.
Three of Pentacles Reversed
None of us is as smart as all of us.” —
Ken Blanchard
Poor communication, lack of cooperation, skills, undervalued, or misused
Overview
While the upright of this card can be seen as contribution, the reversed can be seen as something you should really undertake on your own. There maybe room for others to help you, and you may want their help— but this is something you must do alone. The conflict of visions may obscure the process or end result.
It also can speak to all the issues that can arise from working within a team in general. Such as misaligned values, views and techniques that will muddy the process.
Meaning

Solo-mission
The in reversed position this card can symbolize that things are better undertaken alone. There is not much others can do to help you with this endeavor, as your vision is very specific and hard not to lose in translation. Go at it alone, you should shine alone in you victorious light
Poor communication
Instructions are unclear. There is a major hang up in your shared project. You are not on the same page, some of you are reading from completely different books even.
Alternatively, this is a challenge open to artistic interpretation. Perhaps the instructions were left unclear because the test was to see what your artistic vision brought to the table
Lack of cooperation
Instead of working towards a shared goal, there is conflict between the craftsmen involved. What is supposed to be moving as a single unit is moving of their own unbridled part. It’s unproductive, and creating a greater mess than a great masterpiece,.
Undervalued
Despite being a pivotal part of this machine, you are undervalued in your operations. Whether you’re playing a major role in things, or a million small roles— you are a pivotal cog that is being swept aside as if you didn’t help give birth to this masterpiece.
Misused
You can’t judge a fish by its ability to climb a tree, they say. Despite being amazing at one thing, you are being assigned a role that doesn’t allow your true genius to show itself. If you speak up, there’s a chance you’ll be put into the position you need to thrive. Though if you’re ignored, you may need to consider that you are being set up for failure.
