The Craftsman
Rational, grounded, observant, prepared, spontaneous, enthusiastic, pragmatic
“I have no special talents. I am only passionately curious.”
– Albert Einstein
Curiosity, truth seeking, mental and alertness, learning observing, asking questions, a message of critique
Characteristics
While disorganized with their information and the presentation of it, the thirst for knowledge for them is the source of their inspiration. Although they are the least controlled, they seem like they spit up every thought in their head. Which is chaotic when one’s head is completely untamed. They have no regard to the weight of their words and may talk with no restraint which can make them appear ignorant when they’re not. Due to their intellectual prowess, they can turn a phrase and can easily talk their way out of thing when they calculate their terms.
Negatively, this page can gossip to garter a reaction. They may do it just to see the reactions of others to scandalous information. They are a fly on the wall and a spy in the room, listening to conversations that don’t concern them. Sometimes they can be enlisted to spy on you for the benefits of others. Most of their time is spent in social situations, people watching and judging others. As if cutting down other people to make themselves feel better isn’t the lowest anyone can sink.

Symbolism
A vigilant youth stands on windy, stormy ground holding an upright sword. Wind-swept clouds and birds in flight emphasize mental alertness, curiosity, sharp communication, and watchfulness (sometimes defensiveness or gossip).
Meaning
A situation may be coming that challenges your ideals, morals or integrity. Someone will force you to choose between being honest and lying for someone’s benefit. Look around at the situation before deciding what you are going to do, as there may be more than just integrity on the line.
This also signifies a situation where you should be careful with your words. The weight of your words can sink a body at this time. Try to avoid speaking on the record for anything, and if you do make sure you are diplomatic in your speaking. Do not put anyone down or say something that you would not say to their face directly. Conversely, you could be taking the criticism of others too hard and need to lighten up.
There also could be a spy in your wake. Someone could be supervising your moves and reporting them to a higher authority. Be cautious in what you say to who and who can hear you when you do. This kind of snake is not afraid to sink as low as to hide behind a door to listen to you.
If you are a student, it can signify exams and studying.
The Page of Swords reversed
“A fool thinks himself to be wise, but a wise man knows himself to be a fool.”
— William Shakespeare
Gossip, scattered thinking, information without wisdom
Overview
The Page of swords reversed symbolizes communication without thinking. Whether that’s in the form of gossip or otherwise.

Meaning
Communication Breakdown
Someone is lying on your name and it’s becoming increasingly obvious by the looks others are giving you. You may have noticed rifts forming your relationships without any just cause.
Alternatively, this can speak to the refusal to use tact in your communications. Speaking too bluntly during a time where warmth is necessary.
Insecurity & Defensiveness
If you’ve been acting paranoid, or even feeling as such this is a sign that you’re not crazy. The reversed page of swords has made you their playing thing. They are actively gaslighting you or making you out to be mentally unstable to someone else.
Overly defensive
Do you feel like someone is hiding their hand from you? While it could just be your intuition informing you of the truth, it could actually be that someone is overly guarded due to a fear of vulnerability.
Mental Immaturity
There’s someone who lacks the ability to reason with their own mind. They never took the time to decipher their thought processes, letting their intellect fly with the wind. This is the refusal of mental application. While they may show signs of intelligence, it’s never put to use on any concrete subjects.
Dishonesty/Manipulation
This is the epitome of being outsmarted. Someone is intentionally using intellect for deceit, manipulation, or simply acting in an unethical manner.
Blockage
The only obstacle before you is your own mind. Right now you could be feeling overwhelmed by thoughts. The hang up could be in the inability to express oneself. Conversely, your deficit path moving forward could be from rejection of constructive criticism.
