Wasabi?
What is there to know? My names Brooke Leach but online, I always go by BrookeBasketcase, because 2004 MySpace was a thing and it stuck.
This is where I’m going to share all things I find interesting. I’ll provide sources if I have more than lore, and if not I’ll try to keep the comments sections open in the event I’m in need of correcting.
Some of the things that spark my interest:
- All things Eclectic and spiritual including:
- Astrology
- Fortune Telling
- Tarot
- Death
- The experience of psychic Mediums
- Deciphering/theorizing the after life
- Near death experiences
- Ghosts, hauntings
- Spiritual entities
- Angelic and demonic forces
- Different belief systems and how they contrast with eachother
- Baking
- Gardening
- Tinkering with almost anything
- Dupes for everything
- Lore, all the kinds of lore
My truest love of life is hearing stories that are true, but absolutely impossible to wrap your head around. Which is where a good chunk of the subjects above fall.
So buckle up buckaroos.
What are your qualifications?
Nothing, I have ADHD and a mind that’s overclocked almost 200% of the time. Get me hyper focused on anything I enjoy and I’ll exploit the hell out of every ounce of information I can gather from that thing.
Like Tattooing became and obsession of mine to a degree where I wrote and entire manual on how to tattoo.
Which comes to another point: I write obsessively. Always have, it’s the cure for my boredom. A lot of my teenage years I was unmedicated ADHD and my default mode was to write stories. So I gathered a strong vocabulary due to a dislike for repetition, but a deep desire to abstractly and accurately describe (mainly) emotional agony. Because it was 2008 and you know… I was just about as goth as you could get without Tripp™ Pants or a call home to your parents about not wearing trench coats to school.
Did I mention I have a very sick sense of humor?
Yes, it is how I deal with life. If I ever feel like I have a comfortable enough audience that I won’t get absolutely decimated by cancel culture I might share some of it. If not— you’ll just have to get to know me in real life and feel freakishly uncomfortable then.
